The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.
During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to map out your home.
1. IRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on improving edge and corner best cleaning and mopping robot. It's the very first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is superior as its spinning pads clean your floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.
For the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones generate little noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and moves forward.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something requires attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.
You can also combine or create actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first go. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (Best vacuum plus mop robot known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The best robot vacuum and mop for laminate floors is still quite large. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the best robot cleaner with mop and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
Finally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can use it even if you're away from home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set route.
The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are great however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category and could mean it's slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel has the circular menu which allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
